Rīga Stradiņš University choose EventMAP’s Optime Timetabler, Booker and Exam
After rigorous review we are pleased to announce the University have decided to purchase EventMAP’s Optime suite of applications.
We are very pleased to welcome Rīga Stradiņš University to our growing timetabling family. Riga, the Latvian capital, is set on the Baltic Sea at the mouth of the River Daugava, and is a UNESCO world heritage site. This beautiful location is the home of this globally prestigious University.
The University recently embarked on a search for a timetabling solution to encompass their Course Timetabling, Room Booking and Exam Scheduling activities. After a competitive tendering process, EventMAP was successful in procuring the contract.
The University’s aim was to acquire a comprehensive solution to effectively schedule and manage all teaching resource and activity. Using in part their words, they wanted to ensure a ‘more rational’ use of available assets, including the facility to model and plan for required event resources. They also specified the need for their chosen system to be highly scalable, and to be able to accommodate a range of platforms including allowing all user access via mobile devices.
After rigorous review we are pleased to announce the University have decided to purchase EventMAP’s Optime suite of applications.
We are pleased to be working with the University, which follows on from our earlier success just across the Baltic at Helsinki University, Finland.
