EventMAP is delighted to announce that its work on the University of Canberra Masterplan has been acknowledged, through the ACT Planning Institute of Australia recognising the quality of the project, with its Award for Planning Excellence at an event held in Canberra on 8th November.

EventMAP worked in partnership with New Learning Environments Australia, modelling the Campus’s infrastructure requirements through to 2040, under a range of planning scenarios.  The modelling factored in pedagogical changes, enrolment growth, research activity, and a range of other drivers, in quantifying the infrastructure required.

Terry Roche, EventMAP’s Strategic Facilities Planning Consultant, noted ‘Working on the project with the team from New Learning Environments and MGS Architects was a great opportunity, with us being involved on a project with clear strategic vision, and community engagement.  We are very proud that the team’s work has been recognised with this Award for Planning Excellence.

The project success reflects the high level of integrated planning that EventMAP provides across all aspects of organisational growth and development. Our strength in bringing multi sector innovations to the fore in identifying opportunities, and providing solutions for current and future needs.
