EventMAP leading the way within Timetabling research and development - PATAT 2024

EventMAP at PATAT 2024 – 14th International Conference on the Practice and Theory of Automated Timetabling – Copenhagen, Denmark.

August 29, 2024

This 14th Biennial International Conference (PATAT 2024) is from Tuesday 27th August until Friday 30th August 2024. The venue will be at the Technical University of Denmark (DTU), Copenhagen.

As with previous years, EventMAP are proud to play a prominent role in the organisation, sponsorship and chairing of the conference.

EventMAP, as a leading innovator in the field of timetabling solutions, are proud to have close links with the research community which helps inform the solutions we deliver. Substantial progress has been made by the timetabling academic community over the last three decades, and EventMAP intends to continue to lead the field in the years to come.

We anticipate a range of exciting talks given by experts in established areas of timetabling, as well as newly emerging directions. We look forward to joining everyone with an interest in timetabling and related resource planning challenges.

Since the last such conference in 2022, EventMAP has enjoyed a period of considerable success across many diverse areas. Our ongoing work on research enabled timetabling and scheduling algorithms help provide solutions which offer maximum value for money across our developing client base. OPTIME, our cloud based innovative software framework, embeds these algorithms within intuitive user interfaces allowing efficiencies to be created within institutional workflows and processes. Thus ensuring efficient resource usage, while delivering the best possible solutions to all stakeholders.

Our work has also been widely utilised to the benefit of a broad variety of corporate and public sector organisations, ranging from universities and healthcare to media and policing. We are proud that EventMAP has been able to play a pivotal role in bridging the gap between the theory and practice of automated timetabling and the requirements and aspirations of forward-thinking modern organisations.
