EventMAP partners with Channel 4 to develop an automated approach to scheduling adverts
Beginning in 2018, EventMAP has been partnering with Channel 4 in the development of an automated approach to scheduling adverts. We are pleased to announce our contract has been renewed to help Channel 4 further optimise the scheduling of adverts across their channel sets in the UK and Ireland.
In collaboration with EventMAP, Channel 4 has unified the linear scheduling process utilising the Optime platform. This allows the automatic and optimal creation of agency advert schedules.
Prior, linear scheduling for Channel 4 followed a lengthy pipeline over numerous weeks and frequent manual interventions to adjust for agency preferences. Since then, OPTIME has transformed Channel 4's linear process into sub-region scheduling within minutes allowing for greater flexibility and refinement for agencies and associated advertisement budgets.
